I have dedicated my entire life to working in the countryside, especially with cattle, horses, and agriculture. I grew up in a rural environment, where I learned from an early age the value of hard work and a deep love for animals. Alongside my late father, I spent my childhood training teams of oxen and horses, plowing the land, and carrying out the everyday tasks of rural life.
I truly enjoy working at Rancho La Merced because it allows me to continue doing what I love most: being surrounded by animals and keeping alive the strong connection to the countryside that has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
At 50 years old, I still find great joy in country life and in everything I have learned throughout the years. For me, working with animals is much more than just a job. It is a lifelong passion that began in my childhood, and I feel fortunate to continue living that passion every single day.
